I hope he's still doing OK. I'm not sure when I'll get there next, but I'll definitely let you know. It'd be great fun to meet up and shoot there together. And I hear you on brush, etc, poking into the frame - I might spend hours around some of those bucks and not take a single frame, or certainly not one I'd use, because of that. I was at Cades a few years back in December and remember the bucks from then. I can truly relate to trying to catch them in a good forest setting. Seems you always had something poking them in the head or some other crap in the frame. I really like the pose in this with the one leg in front shifted. He's a big fella.
